Tour Request Form
- We will continue to monitor guidance from the CDC and make decisions based on what is best for our community. Thank you for helping keep our community healthy.
- BEFORE VISIT:
- All participants must arrive with hand sanitizer and a properly fitted mask. Masks are recommended but not required. All participants are required to pack masks in case they will be indoors or are unable to socially distance themselves.
- Individuals in the following categories may NOT participate in a tour if:
- • Tested positive for COVID-19
- • Under orders to quarantine related to COVID-19
- • Showing any symptoms related to COVID-19 including:
- o Fever or chills
- o Cough
- o Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- o Fatigue
- o Muscle or body aches
- o Headache
- o Congestion or runny nose
- o New loss of taste or smell
- o Nausea or vomiting
- o Diarrhea
- Here are our protocols if an individual has been exposed to someone that has tested positive for COVID-19:
- If they have been vaccinated
- • Please send proof of vaccination if you haven't already (that can be a photo from your phone to our email or show it to one of our staff during check in), and wear a mask for the next 5 days.
- • Take an at-home or PCR COVID test 5 days after exposure.
- • If they test negative and have no symptoms, continue to wear a mask while in public/camp for 5 more days (ten days total).
- • If they show any symptoms before then, please quarantine and take a test for COVID.
- If they have NOT been vaccinated
- • Please keep them home.
- • They need to quarantine until 5 days after exposure, and take a COVID test on that day.
- • Continue to monitor for symptoms and get tested if symptoms arise.
- • If they test negative, continue to wear a mask while in public/camp for 5 more days (ten days total).
- SCREENING PROCEDURES:
- Individuals must complete the Daily Screening Assessment each day prior to entering TCAS.
- DAILY SCREENING ASSESSMENT
- 1. Do you, or any of the children with you, have the symptoms listed above?
- 2. Have you, or any of the children with you:
- o Had any of these symptoms since the last time you were last here?
- o Been tested for COVID-19?
- o Potentially been exposed* to COVID-19 or have reason to believe you/they have COVID-19?
- 3. Check-In personnel will make a visual inspection of the person for signs of infection such as flushed cheeks, fatigue, breathing irregularities, or irritability.
- *Exposure is sharing a household or having close contact with anyone with COVID-19 or who has symptoms of COVID-19. If exposed to someone who has tested positive, the individual(s) needs to get a COVID test 5 days after the last day of exposure and send or bring proof of a negative test result upon returning to camp. If they are not tested, they need to quarantine for 10 days from the last exposure before returning to camp.
- Important: Some allergy symptoms are similar to COVID symptoms. If your camper displays any of these symptoms, we will ask that they return home and take a COVID test (the PCR test is preferred). Once negative test results are available, then your said individual will be welcomed on site.
- DURING THE DAY:
- • Masks are recommended but not required. All participants are required to pack masks in case they will be indoors or are unable to socially distance themselves.
- • All activities will be done outdoors. In the case of severe weather, campers will be brought to the visitor center.
- • As much as possible, we will avoid activities that require visitors, volunteers, and staff to touch hands or be in close contact with one another. Individuals will be encouraged to maintain spacing between themselves.
- • If an individual shows signs/symptoms of COVID-19 during the day, they will be monitored and isolated until they can leave the premise or a parent/guardian can pick them up.
- WHAT IF?
- If there is a confirmed case of COVID-19 among individuals visiting TCAS, we will report to anyone who may have come in contact with them. We will coordinate with our local health department to determine a plan of action.
Your reservation is not confirmed until you receive an email confirmation from visitorservices@tigerlink.org
